Checkpoints can be selected during Signup. The system mixes these points and sends the runner(s) from point to point in a random order. At any time only the next point is known.
You can choose from 35 checkpoints.
The "Number of points to exclude" adds an additional twist by omitting this number of points. The omitted points are also randomly chosen and not known until the end.
Start and endpoint can also be freely chosen but they need to be the same point.
The result is a track that is unpredictable both in length and route.
The cutoff time is the number of segments times 2 hours.
Offline checkins work the same way as usual. This has the unpleasant (or exciting, if you look at it that way) consequence that we don't know the next point when checking in offline. The solution is to find an online location as soon as possible where we can submit our offline checkin so that we learn our next destination.
Offline checkpoints are (on yettel network at least): Fahíd a Kopár csárdánál, Sólyom szikla, Megyehatár, Lőrinc-nyereg.
Signup to the Gulyaturmix is free.
